時光相遇
|
「時光相遇」是藉由母職與時光的探討來達成「自我了解」與「重活一次」的母性自我成長的創作。在超越時光的母子相遇之奇異想像中，讓分屬於母與子之不同世代的童年因藝術而相遇，並牽引出一種非常內在的自我省思。在現在的我、童年的我與現在的兒子之圖像對話與溝通中，開啟彼此對另一個性別與世代的認知。
在摸索十分親近卻萬分陌生的男孩經驗的母職生活中，那深藏於母親身份下的內在老成與怯弱竟也因此得到撫慰，而激起從中尋回童年自由幻想與勇敢追夢的力量。最重要的，這樣藝術創作的行動證明了母職不再只是個「犧牲自我」的代名詞，而是個可在細細品味下促成豐富且多彩的自我成長。 Through exploring motherhood and time, I try to "understand myself" and “live again” during growing with my son and doing the artwork "Encounter with Time". All these artistic imaginations of meeting beyond time let the mother and son belonging to different generations encounter together in their childhood and these pull out an internal self-reflection. The dialogue among my works of my son in the present, I in my childhood and I in the present, opens the cognition of another gender and generation for each other. For me, this intimated adventure of exploring the unfamiliar boyhood of my son unexpectedly consoled my rigidness and cowardice. Moreover, it encourages me to recover the power and courage of pursuing my dream. The most important is that this artistic action has proved motherhood is no longer just a synonym for "self-sacrifice", but a rich and colorful personal growth under experiencing it carefully. |
